They look like they are chained up. At first i thought it was a harness for like acrobatics but if you look close the hands are bound with giant rings that are way bigger than the guys wrists. and the cable goes from the hands to the feet with the same looking rings on the ankles. so that leads me to believe they are suppose to be like captured in the scene since the CGI will make the hands and feet much larger so the rings on wrists and ankles will be filled in by the larger cgi turtle bodie...
personally i liked the movie but when i walked out of the theater i just had that feeling of meh that was cool . instead of that feeling of wow that was awesome.
it just felt like a lot was missing that i cant put my finger on.
shes pretty cute. but it totally looks like she is giving that guy the "i wanna ride you like a donkey" look
too bad most Hollywood writers suffer from this "IQ of 10" problem. hence this is totally believable.
